FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — December 2025 — Planet Ocean Underwater Hotels — USA–UAE Initiative has outlined a calm-bay deployment doctrine governing where and how its underwater platforms operate, prioritizing human safety and environmental protection over open-ocean exposure.

Calm-Bay Deployment Strategy Defines Where Underwater Operations Are Safe

The underwater hotel system is not designed for sustained operation in environments subject to high-energy wave action. Instead, operations are restricted to reef-protected bays and sheltered coastal locations where wind-driven swell and kinetic energy remain within defined safety thresholds.

In the presence of increasing swell or deteriorating weather, the underwater module can be elevated to reduce exposure, while the surface vessel retains full mobility to relocate if required. This approach reflects lessons learned from offshore engineering, maritime safety doctrine, and fifteen years of operational research.

By selecting calm-water locations, the initiative avoids unnecessary risk while enabling continuous underwater activity at approximately 30 feet depth, where one-atmosphere conditions eliminate decompression hazards.
