Tony Webb is the founder and sole visionary behind Planet Ocean Underwater Hotels, LLC — a concept he has developed, refined, and championed for over 16 years from his base in Key West, Florida. His journey is not just the story of a business; it is the story of a man who refused to let the world's most ambitious hospitality idea die.
Tony's entrepreneurial path began long before Planet Ocean. An early venture into the space tourism industry — a frontier as bold as the ocean floor — was derailed by fraud. Rather than retreat, Tony pivoted. He turned his eyes from the stars to the sea, and found there a vision so powerful it became his life's purpose.
Planet Ocean is, for Tony, a spiritually guided calling as much as it is a business. Every design decision, every partnership pursued, every presentation delivered has been shaped by a deep faith that this concept exists to benefit humanity — bringing wonder, prosperity, and connection to people around the world through an entirely new relationship with the ocean.
Today, after 16 years of solo development, Tony stands at the threshold of the global stage — with a 50-location rollout plan, a USA–UAE–Japan strategic triad, and the world's first serious commercial underwater hotel concept ready for sovereign wealth partnership.

Turning from the stars to the sea, Tony conceived the Planet Ocean Underwater Hotels concept — a commercially viable, large-scale underwater hotel system deployable in coastal waters worldwide. Development began as a solo project driven entirely by personal conviction and faith.

Tony developed the full concept architecture — the barge-based platform system, the pressurized underwater guestroom pod array, the Houma Louisiana fabrication hub strategy, and the 50-location global rollout framework. All built solo, all proprietary.

Tony identified the UAE and Japan as the two key international partners to anchor Planet Ocean's global launch — aligning the concept with Abu Dhabi's Tourism Strategy 2030 and Japan's world-leading ocean engineering capabilities. The USA–UAE–Japan triad was born.
